How to eat Instructions:
*Cleanse your taste buds with water.
*Place berry in your mouth for 30 seconds.
*Peel off the fruit flesh with your front teeth.
*Occasionally move the berry around your mouth.
*Discard the seed but ensure as much flesh is taken of the seed.
*Continue eating and spreading the flesh around your tongue for 30 seconds.
*Feel free to swallow the chewed flesh.

Let the enjoyment begin.
Each berry can last between 20-40mins (depending on the sensitivity of your taste buds and quantity taken).

The science behind that sweet feeling

The scientific name of the berry is called Synsepalum dulcificum.

The flavour-modifying effect is due to a glycoprotein called Miraculin (hence the name Miracle Berry), in the berry.  Miraculin binds to receptors on the taste buds and as a result, these proteins (known as "sweet receptors") respond to acidic or sour foods in a way that creates a sweet sensation.

The effect lasts from 20 minutes to 40 minutes (depending on quantity eaten and your taste buds). The sweet intensity declines gradually.

Do not chew or swallow the pit, which is safe and rich in vitamins, but very bitter.

Storage

Store in a fridge, freezer or cool dry place away from direct sunlight.
Reseal the bag after opening.

Can you suggest what I can eat with the Berry

*Citrus fruits - Lemon, Lime, Grapefruit, Kiwi, strawberries, raspberries  *Unsweetened yogurt and ice cream *Dark Chocolate  *Vegetable juices, smoothies (with some lime) just to name a few examples.

What currency are the prices do I see in the site?
All prices are in British Pound (Sterling).

I just placed an order, when will it ship?
We try our best to ship items as fast as we can. Please allow 2-4 days for shipping.

Can it be returned? 

No returns accepted unless the product is Unopened, Unused and Undamaged. We do not cover the return postage cost.

Can I cancel my order?
You are able to cancel your order with no penalty! You must cancel your order before it ships. 

I have entered an incorrect address what do I do now?
If you have miss spelled or auto-filled in an incorrect address, simply reply to your order confirmation email and confirm. Once you double check if the address given is wrong kindly notify us via email at hello@berryyummy.co.uk. If the given address is wrong we can change the address to the correct one within 24 hours. No refund will be given after the 24 hours of incorrect submission.

How long does shipping take?
Between 2-3 days.
